Enjoy these activities and attractions around Green River

There’s so much to do around Green River you’ll never want to leave. We have river rafting, Hummer safaris, national park tours, rock climbing, mountain biking, scenic flights, horseback riding, jet boat tours and more all within 60 miles of your hotel room. Check out our blog with pictures of sites to see.

River rafting: Experience some of the "Best Guided Rafting Trips" on the Green and Colorado Rivers. When rafting the mighty these rivers you can experience a wonderful stretch of whitewater and famous red rock canyons.

Horseback riding: Venture into the Wild West with gentle, cowboy-trained quarter horses. Guided by a professional wrangler, you'll explore countless trails spread over the Moab landscape.

Goblin Valley State Park: This Utah State Park is less popular than surrounding national parks but is just as spectacular and stunning with its beautiful sandstone rock formations.

The San Rafael Swell: Often very scenic with mesas, cliffs, buttes, springs and especially canyons, the land is open and access is unrestricted.

Dead Horse Point State Park: This state park is perfect for a day hike with the family. Facilities are limited to a visitor center, picnic area and a well-equipped 21 site campground, plus several short trails.

National park tours: Moab, Utah offers endless opportunity for sight-seeing and Utah National Park exploration. You’re minutes from either the red rocks of Arches National Park or the beautiful landscapes of Canyonlands National Park.

Mountain biking: With hundreds of trails throughout Moab and Arches, there is sure to be some with your skill set. We recommend spending a day touring the area by bike—you won’t regret it.

Rock climbing: Moab is renowned across the world for its incredible rock climbing. Professional instructors will introduce or review the fundamentals based on your experience, then adapt the climbing to your pace and skills.

Scenic flights: After meeting your pilot and guide, you’re seated in a high-wing Cessna aircraft equipped with voice-activated headphones which allow conversations between passengers and pilot. You’re definitely not going to want to miss out on this adventure—a window seat for a spectacular view of Canyonlands National Park.

Hummer safaris: Access Moab’s spectacular backcountry in style and comfort aboard the world's most serious 4x4. Professional guides operate custom Hummer vehicles with raised seating in the rear for optimum passenger viewing. Our Hummers can climb to the top of seldom-seen, awe-inspiring Moab overlooks.
